Beau Recall   ••   Featured   ••   Raven's Lady   ••   Selcourt   ••   Street Band

Derby weekend is shaping up as big weekend for Medallion Racing, with Street Band in the Oaks, and Beau Recall and Raven’s Lady in the G2 Distaff Turf Mile on Derby Day. Selcourt is also under consideration for the G1 Humana Distaff on Derby Day.

Street Band put in a strong 5F work on Monday in 1:00.40, which was the 4th fastest of 35 at the distance. She is scheduled to have her final Oaks work this Sunday, weather permitting.

Beau Recall posted an untimed workout due to fog on Sunday at Churchill Downs. She will work this Sunday in her final work in preparation for the G2 Distaff Turf Mile. She has been at Churchill for most of April, and has maintained great weight heading into the race Derby Day.

Raven’s Lady worked 5 furlongs in 1:01.40 on Wednesday at Santa Anita. This was the 5th fastest of 30 at the distance. She will head in to Churchill at the beginning of next week. We have Florent Geroux booked to ride.

Selcourt worked 5 furlongs in 1:01.40 at Santa Anita on Sunday. This was the 9th fastest of 54 works at the distance. Selcourt caught some unintended company on the backside before pulling away down the lane. She is under consideration for the G1 Humana Distaff on Derby Day, along with a few other stakes across the country.

As a lifelong horseplayer and passion for racing, I came to a point in my life where I wanted stake in a partnership that could offer ownership at the highest level of Thoroughbred racing. Medallion Racing fit my risk tolerance with a solid business plan that detailed their mission, full transparency, weekly communication of all horses involved, and delivered on exactly what their goal was to their investors... Graded stakes winners and thrills I never imagined I would experience in my lifetime.

Mark S., Investor

I became an investor in Medallion Racing in 2015, nothing matches the joy and excitement I receive from being part of top class racehorses such as CATHRYN SOPHIA and CALIFORNIA CHROME.

George S., Thoroughbred owner for over 18 years

Since becoming an investor in Medallion Racing I have been overwhelmed with the excitement of being part of Thoroughbred racing at the highest level. What I have appreciated even more is how well the communication is between myself, the investor, and the managers of Medallion and also all the knowledge I have gained in the racing industry.

Chris J., Midland, TX

My family’s love for the Thoroughbred dates back to the 30s when my grandfather was a top owner/breeder/trainer. Medallion allows me to continue this important family tradition while also participating as an owner at the highest levels of the sport. I fully expect Medallion to evolve into one of the top performing racing partnerships in the world. I want to be a part of this.
